OK, it's Wetherspoons, but it is an affordable central London option, just around the corner from Trafalgar Square, and it is clean and meets lots of dietary needs. I really enjoyed our visit as we found the selection of craft ales to be quite different from those we were used to, I like that about Wetherspoons as they try to have local produce.

The ceilings were high and the barmen were nice and efficient. The ladies cleaning the tables were a bit slow as we had to ask to have our table cleaned after sitting at a newly opened dirty table for 15 minutes.

A decent place to catch a quick pint or kill time if you have other plans in the vicinity. It's more of a get in, gulp, get out place for me. Not a place to spend leisure time. But the location is fantastic. Prices are reasonable as well.more

We went here after watching the Rifles Sounding Retreat. The bar was pretty packed but there were some tables. They do not seat people at the table. You have to go find an empty table, remember the number stamped on the table, go to the bar, order your food and they will bring it to your table.
