Very good food for a Tavern but I can't expect anything less from one of the most classic areas in whole of England. This place is in Lords Cricket Stadium the home of cricket. Food was good, service was Okay.

My wife had a shepherds pie and she said it was the best ever she had my burger was good but good be better.more

Food was very good. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal. However, service was lacking - very slow, and the waiter repeatedly made mistakes with our order. Based on service, we would not return.more

This place was so much better than I expected. They were serving 4 ales, the two I had..the Marstons EPA and the Ringwood Boondoggle were both really nice. Had some food too which was tasty, but was unfortunately served in small posh portions.

The decor is crickety and woody (both good things) and the barmaids were cheerful and friendly.

I would avoid on the days of cricket matches...more

Saw the cricket world cup finals here, the Tavern at Lord's, which is the mecca of cricket (considering it originated nearby, at Marylebone). Good beer (though they don't have Guinness, hence only 4 stars), great staff, very classy establishment without any posh airs.more
