Cozy yet spacious. Dirty yet clean. Nice addition to the many music venues on the high street. Friendly bartenders, especially when its dead in there. Stage in the back, couches and tables in the front.
Came here during the Camden crawl and they were some really bad comedians on the stage in the back. added to the awesome that day really.

We were looking forward to the Wedding Crashers night at The Wheelbarrow in Camden for a friend who is leaving the country, and instead what we subjected to was nasty, aggressive and violent behaviour by the door staff which was then supported by the manager.

Camden's secret great night out. Free entry all night. The people there are young studenty types and fun to talk to. The drinks are reasonable compared to the rest of the high street and the musics a good mix of alternative rock and hip hop. There's a small stage area for dancing. When it's full of people, its the best bar in camden on a budget.more
Great music venue.
I finally made it to The Wheelbarrow last week, after my workmate had told me to go for ages, and we went for a gig - Beans on Toast, which was fab!
The venue is small and intimate and great for gigs but the pub is quite large and really friendly, the loos were clean with a minimal queue too so that was a bonus, and the pub is in a fab location.
Will definitely return,...more
Really cool place to hang out in Camden.
I stumbled upon this bar on a bar crawl while I was visiting London recently. The bartender was awesome, took some time to chat me up and give me the scoop on the area - and some advice about my trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect you can walk out and take a turn in either direction to find more bars, markets, food..anything you're little heart...more
