The Mall Tavern serves a variety of drinks and traditional British cuisine. On the last Saturday of every month they have poetry readings and a quiz night on Tuesdays. Private parties of up to 50 people can be catered for. They also have a beer garden for use in warmer months.

Ex-freaking-ceptional. Exceptional. started with spinach and artichoke dip, hard some lovely pale ales to compliment. I had the fish and chips- perfectly cooked and battered with chips to match their perfection. Just excellent.more
This place has had a SERIOUS change, inside and out, and for the better. It really does deserve 5 stars. Whoever made the changes, knew exactly what they were doing, and what to do.
The beer selection is incredible for a pub, and really extensive. Some classics, craft beers, IPA's and stouts, with a HUGE amount on tap! About time for a pub!
