I have to commend Kopapa for seating me at 11am for brunch on Saturday without a reservation. It's perhaps the only place that does a competent brunch so centrally - on Monmouth Street in the Seven Dials. Although my pleasure at being seated so easily was dashed when I was told I'd have to clear the table in an hour.

It's an ideal place if you're tired of the usual fare served on most brunch menus and want to try something new, especially in the central area. The restaurant gets really packed and it's wise to make a reservation ahead of time if you're planning to go on the weekend, especially at peak times.

I am from NYC...the land-o-brunch and it is so nice to find somewhere in London that has bloody marys, amazing breakfast food and a bustling atmosphere! I'm a fan of Kopapa and I'll definitely be going back :)!

The dishes I ate at Kopapa were so offensive they were inspiring.
I tried the summer "bread" soup with vegetables and pesto. I was a bit confused because I was under the impressesion that bread soup was started with breadcrumbs as a thickener..but this one had large chunks of tasty carbs in it instead.
