Mango Tree

The highly recommended and award-winning Mango Tree serves mouth-watering traditional Thai cuisine to an eclectic clientele in Belgravia, conveniently near Buckingham Palace in South West London. Popular with the business crowd, particularly when it comes to post-work dinners, Mango Tree is a contemporary and chic venue that is typical of its East Asian roots in every aspect, from the Feng Shui decor and world-renowned Thai hospitality to the classic and creative culinary delights to be discovered in the menus.

Every region of Thailand is represented here. You can enjoy the mild dishes of the North, the spicy delicacies of the East, the Chinese-style cooking of Central Thailand, and the tantalisingly hot dishes from the South. First-time diners are recommended to sample signature dishes, including Som Tum, a classic papaya salad, Pad Ka Pow Pak, stir-fried mixed vegetables with chilli, and Ponlamai Ruam Mit, the seasonal exotic fruit platter served with mango sauce.

Mango Tree also hosts a range of special events such as vegetarian and lobster festivals, not to mention the exceptionally unique Thai High Tea. Enjoy a warm and welcoming dining experience in an envious location at Mango Tree.

This place has so much potential - you can see that by the layout of the restaurant, the friendly staff, etc but the food falls flat - extremely disappointing. The 2 main courses we tried (chicken with cashews and beef with oyster sauce) were very bland and tasteless. To be honest I could have cooked this meal much better myself, which is a real shame and NOT the point of going out for dinner.more

While shopping at Harrods, boyfriend and I stopped at Mango Tree for a quick lunch break. Mango Tree is asian fusion with an emphasis on dim sum that they say is made fresh daily by a Hong Kong dim sum master. I really liked the feeling of sitting at the "bar" of an open kitchen where we could watch the chef at work and our servers within arm's reach. While waiting for two seats to open up,...more

It's quite good quality Thai food here. Ordered the Pad Thai and it was substantially better than takeaway but at the level of Busaba and Thai Square. Opentable currently has a 50% off deal as well when you order a main and starter which makes this place pretty sweet at the moment. The Kor Moo Yang was surprisingly good as well as the Tom Ka Goong.more

Whenever in London, The Mango Tree is my go to spot for excellent Thai cuisine. I love the food, the atmosphere is amazing, and they drinks are excellent.

The curry entrees are all amazing and they offer very diverse and delicious options for starters. The wine selection is extensive which is always a good sign as they take pride in their customers dinning experience. When dinning at The...more

I have visited 'The Mango Tree' on two occasions. My first experience was better than my second. Based on the second, I wouldn't go again.

Food: The food is in general good. I think though it all depends on what you get. The first time I went we ordered loads of starters and I they were good. The second time I went for main dishes too. The chicken for one was didn't taste great and I ended up...more
