Boy does that name bring back a memory or two I may have had my last meal here well over a two decades ago, but I never forget a good meal. These kinds of places never change, so I guess the food is as good now as it was back then; I bet my life on it. (Goetz can confirm that.)

The food was excellent! Also the spicy dishes that we ordered "very spicy" were indeed spicy and not watered down. Service was excellent and the bill was less than sixty pounds for five people with a nice mix of appetizers and main courses (your mileage may vary but gives you an idea of the order of magnitude). Highly recommended!more
I was surprised about how good the food was there. For St John's Wood, the prices are really low and still the quality was superb. A little restaurant with a nice atmosphere and really good Indian food.
So if you're looking for Indian food in St John's Wood, this is the place to go! :)more
I ate here on a quiet Monday night--service was helpful yet unintrusive, plenty of menu options clearly marked with how spicy they are, and my lamb korma was the best i've had in a long while. Boyfriend thought his dish was a little on the sweet side, but that's just what i liked about it. Prices were plenty decent. I will definitely be back.more
