I'm really disappointed in Montague's because it was literally just last week that I gave this place a good four star rating. A friend and I came here on a busy night and the place was packed. Whether you like weatherspoons or not, the Montague Pyke certainly offers something different from most other London pubs. Its vast size alone is something worth noting, because with live music and a late license you'd could easily find yourself having fun and dancing without having to pay stupid amounts of money to get in.

One of my favourite pubs in London, not only is it cheap because it's a Whetherspoons - yes i know, but stay with me here - but it's cool, unpretentious vibe attracts a lot of the local crowd. Converted from a theatre, it is HUGE but I've always been hard pushed to find a table.
