We stayed in one of the boutique hotels a block down and didn't care for the provided breakfast. We first tried the breakfast right next door, which is in a hotel and has a lovely atmosphere. My co-workers and I came here since it was close to the hotel and the reviews were good. The seating was a bit squishy, and there was only one women running around collecting the orders. When we looked at the menu the food was rather inexpensive which was a big plus. I ordered the spaghetti with a meat sauce. Quality, value, and atmosphere. That sums up Mimo's Cafe. I stayed at a nearby hotel and thought I'd venture out for breakfast. Glad I did! This sits on a small segment of the street that seems to be a local gathering spot. Not like the other tourist stops around Paddington Station.

Had the full breakfast and it was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. However, after leaving the restaurant we noticed from the pictures that our plate was missing mushrooms. The restaurant is very busy and packed so they may have forgotten - not very good in term of service. The price was reasonable breakfast for two less than 10 pounds. One of the greatest joys of traveling is the opportunity to enjoy local food at local gems. And I have to thank a few of my European Yelp buddies who convinced me that this place is indeed a local favorite, despite the fact that it's only a short walk away from the busy and vibrant Paddington Station.
