Overview

Our aim is to ensure that the Dartmouth Castle is, first and foremost, a pub. We have a great selection of beer and a well-chosen international wine list with 15 wines available by the glass. We've also put the same enthusiasm and hard-earned skills in to the gutsy Mediterranean fare that's won many accolades in its sister pubs and is now starting to become recognised at The Dartmouth. Come in and see for yourself!

We take bookings for small groups downstairs in the pub, as well as for our function room for larger groups. If you would like to know more, please give us a call or send us an email.

This is a nice enough pub, with quite good beer (Doom Bar and [snicker] Butcombe). Pretty nice feel to the place, away from hardcore Hammersmith.

Another cracking pub in an area full of cracking pubs.

Same owners as a few other pubs with good reputations (cumberland arms is one) the pub is done up smart.

Staff are friendly and menu is extensive and impressive.

We had an italian pasta I can't remember the name of with lovely courgette of different colours. And a lamb tagine with cous cous and yoghurt. Really nicely done. Generous...more

I've been here three or four times and always had a very pleasant time.

It's slightly out of the way, but only slightly, and being just 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith tube station, it's a good place to meet friends. Add that to the fact that they reserve tables for you for free and serve good portions of tasty food, and you have a nice cheap party venue. So that's why I had my party there....more

It's a busy little pub once the work day is over, but give it some time and I think you'll find it's a pretty good one. When it's nice outside, their outdoor patio is a great place to spend a few hours on an afternoon. And their sandwiches are MASSIVE which makes up for the prices.

We felt very smug last night having four tables reserved for our party and disappointing all the people coming...more

Though it's not a cheap watering hole, it does have gorgeous food and great service. They seem to change their menu quite frequently, so the one you see on their website is out of date. I wouldn't recommend the soup with rice since the rice tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way, but the soup itself was quite delectable. (I had a red pepper and saffron soup, but the flavor will probably...more
