The Dartmouth Castle

The Dartmouth Castle serves a couple of real ales as well as draught lagers and a good selection of wines. The menu is an interesting selection of both British and International dishes and there is a good sized area at the front to sit out in.

We decided to dine here as it was literally a two minute walk from our hotel (Hotel Adria). Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We had a main & desert. Steak was excellent but I must recommend their spicy sausage.

Now we've just got Kate Bush to see!more

This is a nice enough pub, with quite good beer (Doom Bar and [snicker] Butcombe). Pretty nice feel to the place, away from hardcore Hammersmith.

They do not turn away men with handbags.more

We had an italian pasta I can't remember the name of with lovely courgette of different colours. And a lamb tagine with cous cous and yoghurt. Really nicely done. Generous...more

I wouldn't recommend the soup with rice since the rice tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way, but the soup itself was quite delectable. (I had a red pepper and saffron soup, but the flavor will probably...more
