I had high expectations for this tapas joint and I wasn't disappointed. Tapas tends to be bad to awful in the UK but this place is an example that the Brits can do great Tapas. This place is fantastic, and a massive surprise to have such a stylish venue and great tapas in Camberwell.

I have eaten here many times and check this out for a recommendation: this is the place my girlfriend and I decided to introduce our parents to each other! Both sets of parents agreed that this is the best Tapas they had had in London - quite an accolade for my girlfriends parents to...more

I stumbled in here with a friend in search of coffee and dessert and we were both really impressed. The coffee was excellent and the desserts completely beyond expectations. The staff were friendly, the interior rustic-cool and prices fair. For coffee and dessert it doesn't get much better than this, but I'll be back to try the tapas for fuller appreciation of this restaurant's wares.more

Including unique menu items such as Spanish spiced Cornish crab and watermelon feta salad the owner attempts to add a contemporary twist on a traditional cuisine, all done so with an...more

Camberwell never used to have much foodie rep - only a few years ago locals would still be more inclined to head elsewhere for dinner out rather than bother with the uninspiring local options. However, the Camberwell foodie renaissance is in full swing now, and I salute Angels & Gypsies for being chiefly responsible. It's probably due to this place that we now have the swanky likes of the...more
