Family Tips for Winter in London

Winter in London is a wonderful time! From ice-skating to hot chocolate, you can indulge in some fantastic festive activities in the UK capital. And if the weather turns bad, London's indoor attractions are among the best in the world.

The best way to beat the winter blues is to get outside and get the blood pumping. It's also a great way to burn up any surplus energy! London has hundreds of parks and outdoor spaces for you and the kids to explore. See our Open Spaces section to find a park near to you.

Get your skates on at Alexandra Palace's ice rink. It's a great way to get some exercise and tire out little legs. You could also try one of the temporary ice rinks which pop up all over London from November to January.
