Jack The Ripper Tour at Aldgate Underground Station
Overview
A chance for historically curious visitors to take step back in time to the foul streets of Whitechapel, which in 1888 was certainly not a safe place for young woman to walk through at night. The tour operators will help capture the poetry of the era by describing the spooky gas lamps, cobbled streets and horse drawn cabs of the area. Crime and poverty in Whitechapel was extremely notorious in the 19th Century and participants shall see how five prostitutes were violently murdered by the most famous serial killer ever "Jack the Ripper" during a ten week period . There will be photographs of the victims and at the end of the tour the guide will give you a theory and name a suspect, who he thinks was the killer. There is also a chance to see one of the most famous scenes from the Harry Potter movie.
