Wicked is a dazzling, smash-hit musical about the early life of the legendary witches from L Frank Baum's classic story, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This fantastic prequel is based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, which re-imagines the stories and characters created by Baum in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Wicked tells the incredible, previously untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. Experience this unforgettable, award-winning musical and discover that you've not been told the whole story about the land of Oz...

Acclaimed as "one of the most popular West End musicals ever" by the London Evening Standard, the London production of the global musical phenomenon has now been seen by more than five million theatregoers since its West End premiere in 2006. There are currently productions of Wicked running around the world and it has won 90 international awards. Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman and is directed by Joe Mantello.

On a recent trip to London I noticed that tickets prices were around 1/3 of prices in NYC I figured I'd check Wicked. I was in the 6th row of the stalls to the side and only paid £29.75. My one complaint is that there are no cup holders, not sure if that's normal for the UK but it would be nice to have somewhere to put my drink. The show was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors were...more

Compared to Broadway prices these days, the West End is significantly more affordable. We were planning on buying discounted tickets from the local TKTS booth, but ended up...more

Decided to go see wicked again and have to say it was amazing. Well worth the visit and every single penny! The cast had it all, great costumes, amazing personalities and even better singing voices. The show also has a much needed interval for toilet breaks and ice cream time!

I had goosebumps throughout most of the show and wish it would never end. The wicked is truly amazing and leaves the...more

Great production, great performance, great story, great singing, great sound, great music, gr..... Yes I can go on.

These things are quite subjective, so I think people who wants to see wicked will see it even if the review is bad, and people who won't want to see it would not be moved even if I give a stellar review. So I won't say too much about the musical.

Reality is that it is an award...more

I booked the ticket through the last minute.com a week before. It was my first time to go to a theater in London. Wicked is very popular theater in Japan as well being produced by the most authorized theatrical company. But I had never seen it before.

I had checked the story in advance so I could understand even in English. Actually I couldn't catch what all performers said or sang. But I quite...more
