CASA Latin American Theatre Festival 2017: Osmo at Southwark Playhouse

About

Based on a short story by one of Brazil's leading female writers Hilda Hilst, this is the tale of Osmo, a serial killer with literary pretensions. While he is sitting at home trying yet again to write his memoirs, he receives a phone call from a friend inviting him to a dance. And so he begins to get ready for another night that will end in sex and murder.

Featuring a masterful performance by Donozeti Mazonas who delivers the show, fully naked in an open aquarium, this is a darkly hilarious solo show the company describe as dance-theatre-anti-stand-up.

Presented in Portuguese with English surtitles.
