About

Come along for an evening of music and dancing in aid of Missing People and support Team MP's Tough Mudder Girl Warriors! We have a £2,000 fundraising target for our Tough Mudder event on 16th September 2017 - please come along and show your support. There will (definitely) be cake, raffle prizes (maybe), more cake (for sure), and (maybe) a few more prizes. FEATURING: The Apartment The Apartment come together to explore and experiment with original song ideas and describe their music as a funky fusion of blues, dance and rock-inspired soul. Groupthink Groupthink is the pseudonym of Robbie Baker, a singer-songwriter from London. Since early 2015, he has been playing original songs about crime, murder, politics, drugs and loss. Dark themes are set to catchy, energetic melodies. Key influences on his songwriting include Tom Waits, Bowie, Eels, the Manics and the Clash. Described by a man in the toilet at a recent gig as "Bob Dylan on speed" Louise D'Arcy Louise D'Arcy is an acoustic singer-songwriter from North-West London. She's been singing in the shower for many moons and first picked up a guitar when she was about 16 years old. Louise will play anywhere, from a ditch at the side of the road in rural Somerset (it's happened) to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury (not happened yet but watch this space!) Gemma and Lloyd Gemma and Lloyd are used to playing in front of people who know them. You might not know them yet, but you'll know them once they get on stage - Lloyd on guitar and Gemma on vocals. Lovely stuff. Darija + Guests A few tunes to set us all up nicely for the night. Dana A very special performance by the very talented Dana, who will be bringing the 'Kathak', a North Indian Classical dance to the Good Ship.
