About

900 years of history and located on the edge of the city of London, Southwark Cathedral has continually been a place where writers have come, whether to live, to attend religious services or to just to visit and enjoy the space. Join this one hour tour and uncover the buildings connection with the famous, such as Pepys, Shakespeare and Dickens and those less-well known, such as John Gower, Phillip Massinger and John Fletcher. These tours are led by our extensively trained Cathedral guides, many of whom work as City of London guides. Spaces are strictly limited so early booking is recommended.
