The Friday League is a party/performance mashup where culture + clubbing collide! Think live art, theatre, film and dance - thrown smackbang into the middle of your Friday night! Get your hi-brow art fix while getting low down on the dancefloor! Feast your eyes on creative showcases, artists and art forms; from animation, dance and clowning to theatre and things you've never seen before! Move your feet to an eclectic mix of 80s disco, hip hop and sweet party hits! Break from the norm + do something a little bit different on your Friday nights! We believe theatre can create an alternative visual narrative, challenging what we think we know. The Mostly Everything People A free-thinking dance theatre company working at the experimental edge of collaboration. The Mostly Everything People is the combined vision of choreographer Jennifer Fletcher and composer Christopher Preece, realised by some of the UKs most talented emerging performers. Jamie Harry Scrutton Stand up comedic poet/Avante-Garde Filmmaker/Artist/writer/Director. Jamie graduated from De Montfort University in Leicester with a Fine Art Degree and it was during his studies that he found he had profound passion for film. His film, His Haunted Laughter was re-scored live on stage by 'The Cabinet of Living Cinema' during Whirlygig Cinemas 'Making Tracks' festival in London and was also screened and shortlisted for The Yorkshire Award at "The Glimmer International Film Festival" in Hull. Ashley Handel Ashley Handel is originally from California, but has lived in NYC for the past 6 years, working as a professional dancer, theatre artist, and singer. She was an original cast member in "The Grand Paradise," an immersive theatre show created by award-winning Brooklyn based company, Third Rail Projects. She now lives in London with her husband and a blue yoga mat, where she hopes to continue dancing, singing, and making a general fool of herself.
