July marks the launch of a unique exhibition which aims to explore female innovation. The exhibition is hosted by Innovate UK and Getty Image and looks to celebrates the work of the UK's most innovative women and address one of the core barriers to women applying for their funding - they fail to self-identify as innovative. To help overcome the barriers female entrepreneurs face, Innovate UK have commissioned renowned UK photographer Amelia Troubridge to create real depictions of women in innovation and will be hosting an exhibition at the Getty Gallery July 18-28 to show off these photographs. About the exhibition Only 1 in 7 UK applications for business funding come from female innovators, Innovate UK are aiming to change this by helping women identify with relatable and attainable female role models With a selection of photographs by renowned UK photographer Amelia Troubridge, this unique exhibition profiles the 12 of the Winners and Finalists of Innovate UK's Women in Innovation Awards This free exhibition promises a surprising and inspiring insight into female entrepreneurship, redefining what we see, feel and believe about female innovation and creativity.
