Beth Hart at Royal Albert Hall

About

Beth Hart's story is a rollercoaster one: in the late Nineties, her star was in the ascendance with a major record deal, television slots, and hit singles to her name. However her career was derailed by a drug and alcohol addiction. Having ditched the drink and drugs, she made her musical comeback in 2003 with the album 'Leave the Light On'. Over the next few years, she built up a loyal following in the UK and Europe, and got well and truly back on track.

In 2012 Hart wowed audiences with a showstopping performance with Jeff Beck to honour the blues great Buddy Guy, and her 2013 release with Joe Bonamassa, 'Seesaw' received a Grammy nomination for Best Blues Album. 2014 saw her nominated for a Blues Music Award in the 'Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year' category.
