See David Tennant return to the London stage in the hilariously debauched play, Don Juan in Soho, at Wyndham’s Theatre.
Callous seducer DJ will stop at nothing to get what he wants. As the suave lothario works his way through modern-day Soho, sating his sexual appetite at will, he remains unrepentant of his acts. But will his libertine escapades come back to haunt him?
Tennant (Doctor Who) plays the lead role in Patrick Marber’s play, which is largely adapted from Molière’s classic comedy to take place in a contemporary London setting, where celebrity adoration and care-free attitudes to sexuality abound.
Marber directs his play as it returns to the London stage for a limited 11-week run, 10 years after its acclaimed premiere starring Rhys Ifans. Adam Cork’s highly praised techno-Mozart musical interludes remain a key part of this revival.
