About

The veteran pop-rock singer-songwriter takes to the stage for his UK tour, beginning in Dublin at The Academy and culminating in London at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to promote his album Stranger Comes To Town. The singer and guitarist has released material as both a solo artist and as part of his band Cockney Rebel. The band may be best known for their smash hit single Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me) which has been covered by several artists more than one hundred times. The single has also been featured on the soundtrack to popular films including the triple platinum selling soundtrack to The Full Monty. As a songwriter Harley has written for other musicians as well as himself, including veteran rocker Rod Stewart. After performing as a solo artist Harley has now joined former bandmate Stuart Elliot to create the band Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel.
