Liverpool FC v FC Barcelona at Wembley Stadium

About

Wembley Stadium will host its first ever International Champions Cup fixture when Liverpool meet Barcelona.

Ten of Europe’s biggest teams (Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester City, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Celtic) will compete in the 2016 International Champions Cup, which will run from 23 July until 13 August.

Having just completed the double in Spain, the Barcelona squad is brimming with talent, including the likes of Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, and Luis Suarez, who could be facing his former club. Five-time European Champions Liverpool will be looking to improve their formidable record against the Catalan side, having lost only two of the last eight competitive matches between the two sides.

Tickets have now sold out.
