See Griff Rhys Jones return to the stage in Molière’s classic comedy, The Miser, at Garrick Theatre.
Wealthy Harpagon (played by Jones) will stop at nothing to protect his money, even from his own children. With his paranoia reaching fever pitch, he comes up with an idea to set up his children with moneyed suitors. But not everything goes according to plan – when everything is revealed, will Harpagon choose money or family?
Sean Foley and Phil Porter’s adaptation of Molière’s hysterical masterpiece also sees much-loved British comedian Lee Mack make his West End debut. The play was first performed in 1668 and has since been put on in Broadway, as well as being adapted into a Bollywood film.
