The Britpop quintet have come a long way since releasing their first single The Drowners, with their 1993 eponymous debut album becoming the fastest selling first album in UK history and subsequently winning a Mercury Music Prize. Throughout the various changes in line-up founding member, guitarist, vocalist and lyricist Brett Anderson remained at the core of the group. In 1994, prior to the release of the band's second studio album Dog Man Star, guitarist Bernard Butler unexpectedly departed throwing a shadow over the event. In 1996 after recruiting Richard Oakes and Neil Codling the group managed to continue on a run of success with their album Coming Up. Anderson and Butler reunited in 2004 and formed The Tears but Anderson eventually decided to revive the group as Suede in early 2010. After coming full circle back round to where they started the guys are performing some of the songs that defined the Britpop era.
