About

Rediscover London’s punk scene with Punk Weekender at The Photographer’s Gallery.

To celebrate 40 years of punk, the gallery is putting on a series of events over a long weekend, including exhibitions, music, workshops, talks and performances, capturing the story and spirit of the punk movement in Soho and the rest of London.

Explore Print Sales Gallery’s spotlight exhibition including photographs from Shirley Baker’s Camden punk series, and follow a digital timeline documenting the evolution of the subculture featuring works by Anita Corbin, Derek Ridgers and Janette Beckman. Hear Universal Music’s specially-created playlist showcasing punk’s influence on modern music, and watch post-punk band The Raincoats perform live in the gallery. Plus, enjoy film screenings and evening events, and take part in workshops with all the family.
