About

Witness the tragic story of Titanic, as it is brought to life at Charing Cross Theatre, in a revival of Southwark Playhouse’s award-winning musical.

On the night of 14 April 1912, RMS Titanic hits an iceberg on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York and sinks, leaving 1517 men, women and children to die. Many of those on board had dreamed of a better life in America.

Based on real stories and characters, this romantic musical delves into the captivating stories of the ocean liner’s passengers, from the hopes of the poor Third Class immigrants to the ambitions of billionaires travelling in First Class.

With music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a script by Peter Stone, Titanic recreates these tragic stories of hope and escape.
