Hear top names read out remarkable literary correspondences with Letters Live at the Freemasons’ Hall.

The celebration of written correspondences returns following last year’s sold-out shows, which featured letters written by Charlotte Bronte, Richard Burton, Che Guevara, Elvis Presley, Mohandas Gandhi, Marge Simpson, David Bowie, Kurt Vonnegut and many more.

A starry cast of actors, musicians and writers, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Bob Geldof, Jimmy Carr, Peter Capaldi, David Nicholls, Jude Law, Russell Brand and Shappi Khorsandi, will be reading out more touching, hilarious and inspirational letters from around the world and across the centuries.

Each of the six evenings features a different line up of top performers which will be kept secret until the night.

An additional family matinee show for all ages takes place on 12 March, with a confirmed line up including Ian McKellen, Blue Peter’s Lindsey Russell, Russell Brand, Julia Donaldson and Ellie Bamber.
