The story opens in 1938 Vienna. Lisa Jura, a young Jewish pianist dreams of performing at Vienna’s Musikverein concert hall. But with new rules imposed by the Nazi regime, her ambitions are cut short and she is sent to London on the Kindertransport, taking with her only her love of music and her dreams.
