© Historic Royal Palaces Pinterest

Enjoy seasonal music and carols throughout the ages this December at Hampton Court Palace, performed by a host of celebrated musicians and vocalists. From the English and German carols known and loved by the Georgian monarchs and their court, to Victorian carols in regal brass arrangements which still define Christmas today, this timeless programme of music is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.

Performances are roughly 15 minutes long and take place at various times and in a range of palace locations between 11am and 3pm.

See the visitor information in the Welcome Centre and palace spaces or ask our Warders on the day.

Highlights include the 18th-century (The German Choir of London) on Sunday 29 November; 16th-18th-century, The Gabrieli Consort and Players on Sunday 13 December, a timeless Christmas programme with works by Buxtehude and Bach and the hauntingly beautiful Coventry Carol; 19th-century, The Prince Regent’s Band Victorian carols in regal brass arrangements on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December.
