About

Discover the stories of people on the home front affected by the First World War in the free exhibition Keep the Home Fires Burning: Stories from the Great War, at Bethlem Museum of the Mind.

With a focus on soldiers and their families, women, psychiatric patients and refugees, the exhibition explores the impact of war on the people back at home and the recovery of the nation. Their stories are told through objects brought together from Bromley Museum and Bromley Local Studies and Archives, as well as patient records from Bethlem Royal Hospital held at the museum.
