Plan a trip to the Barbican Centre for an art experience quite unlike any other with Eddie Peake: The Forever Loop.

The London-based artist is the creative force behind a highly elaborate, experimental web of architectural installations. The works are populated by compellingly choreographed performances and videos, all set within the distinctive confines of the famous Curve gallery. The centrepiece of the ambitious enterprise is a scaffold walkway that spans the whole length of the 90-metre gallery, providing both a stage for the performance and an optimum viewing platform for visitors.

With the idea of looping at the heart of the project, the performers repeat their choreographed dance movements in synchronisation with sound and video installations. Exploring themes of language, movement, sexuality and identity, there’s a huge amount to take in, with sculpture, performance, video, painting and sound all vying for attention.
