Immediately recognisable and loved across the globe, Tintin has been a comic strip superstar since his first appearance more than 85 years ago. Originally published in in Hergé's weekly cartoon strip in Le Petit Vingtième in Brussels in 1929, Tintin has gone on to sell more than 200 million copies of his 24 "albums" worldwide.

The iconic hero's capers through art, history and adventure have captured the imagination of readers of all ages and walks of life. Now Tintin and his creator Hergé touch down in London for this new exhibition. With material from the archives of the Hergé Museum in Brussels, the show allows you to explore and gain insights into the worlds of both Tintin and his creator.
