About

For a show packed with beauty, elegance and breathtaking acrobatics, book a ticket for the Royal Albert Hall as the magnificent Cirque du Soleil present their latest spectacular, Amaluna.

Returning to the venue for their 20th year, this is the first time that Cirque du Soleil have performed this show in the UK.

Directed by Tony Award-winning Diane Paulus, the elaborate production is described as a celebration of love and a tribute to the voice and work of women.

Performed almost exclusively by women, the sumptuous production tells the story of the queen Prospera who arranges her daughter's coming of age ceremony, a rite that celebrates femininity, rebirth, renewal and balance.

Following a storm caused by Prospera, a group of young men arrive on the island, beginning an epic tale of love between the suitor and the daughter. Can they overcome the trials, terrors and setbacks that threaten to derail their trust and faith in each other?
