Silent Cinema at St Martin's Courtyard

Catch some of the best of British film in a highly unusual location as Silent Cinema returns to St Martin's Courtyard. And because everyone's wearing headphones, you won't miss a thing.

The full-size cinema screen is popping up for just three nights under the starry summer sky to show a range of classic British films, from old favourites to more recent efforts.

Horror and comedy are skillfully blended in Simon Pegg's hilarious zombie comedy, Shaun of the Dead. Keira Knightley and James McAvoy star in the romantic treat that is Atonement, while the young Jamie Bell learns that it can be a tough struggle to become a male dancer in the uplifting Billy Elliot.

You can even enjoy the screenings with an al-fresco dinner, and thanks to the headsets you'll be able to catch every bit of dialogue. Don't miss the live entertainment before the screenings too, including marauding zombies, dance from the Royal Ballet School and high-energy Charleston dancers.
