Look at the capital in a whole new light as the BFI hosts a special series, London on Film.
This is the first time that the British Film Institute has held a retrospective centred completely on London. More than 200 films from the past 120 years are scheduled to be shown throughout the series, including classic films, lesser-known works and home movies.
The first part of the season revolves around Soho. This is followed by films that show the diversity of Londoners, from city workers to subculture rebels. The final segment looks at London as it has been re-imagined, whether as a place of song and dance or a dystopian nightmare.
