Festival Zones will be dotted around the RideLondon FreeCycle route on Saturday 30 July with a huge range of bike-based entertainment and activities to suit riders of all ages, abilities and interests.
All the activities are free of charge as part of a fantastic day out for all the family and form part of Prudential RideLondon, the world’s greatest festival of cycling.
In 2015, there were six zones in: Green Park, Guildhall Yard, Leadenhall Market, St Paul’s Churchyard, Aldwych and Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Entertainment included everything from Penny Farthing polo and a 200m mountain bike track, to a jump box ramp show and Rollapaluza races. Andrei Burton, one of the world’s top stunt cyclists, also starred in an International Urban Trials competition and was joined by the world’s best wowing the crowds with breathtaking tricks, jumps and stunts.
More information on 2016 Festival Zones will be released in the coming months.
