Experience live opera and ballet in the centre of London with The Royal Opera House’s BP Big Screens 2016 in Trafalgar Square, on 18 May, 9 June and 14 July.
This year, two operas and one ballet will once again be relayed directly from the Royal Opera House to big screens specially set up in Trafalgar Square, together with exclusive backstage looks and competitions.

The Royal Ballet’s Frankenstein – Wednesday 18 May
The Royal Ballet performs the world premiere of Liam Scarlett’s ballet adaptation of the famous gothic tale. The performance starts at 7.30pm, with a pre-show screening from 7pm.
The Royal Opera’s Nabucco – Thursday 9 June
Catch Verdi’s epic opera in a powerful production by The Royal Opera from 7.30pm, with a pre-performance screening from 7pm. The opera is sung in Italian with English surtitles.
The Royal Opera’s Il trovatore – Thursday 14 July
The Royal Opera performs Verdi’s powerful tale of love, jealousy and revenge in Italian with English surtitles. A pre-performance screening starts at 6.45pm, followed by the main performance from 7.15pm.
