Plantastic at Horniman Museum and Gardens

Explore the world of the humble plant at Plantastic, the brilliantly inventive family experience at the Horniman Museum and Gardens.

The miniature world of the plant is brought vividly to life on a grand scale as visitors are shown a bee's eye view of the natural world. How do plants move when they are rooted to the ground and why is dung so important to their existence? Tackle these questions and many more through a series of entertaining, interactive exhibits and a range of fun family games. Discover the many complicated processes that go on, out of sight, for plants to thrive in often hostile environments.

Visitors can also take part in a range of family craft sessions, including the making of pop-up bees, cress creatures, leafy masks and even natural lip balm.
