About

Celebrate the world of two-wheel travel as Cycle Revolution arrives at the Design Museum.

With Chris Froome's magnificent Tour de France win still fresh in the memory, there's no better time to learn more about the marvellous machines that have revolutionised travel.

Get up close to a range of high-end cycles from some of the best bike makers on the planet, including Pinarello, Boardman Elite and Brompton.

Also on show are bikes belonging to famous cyclists including Sir Chris Hoy and Sir Paul Smith, as well as items of valuable high-tech kit from their lockers.

The exhibition also looks at cycling from the perspectives of four different subcultures or tribes. These include the High Performers, who can reach Olympic levels of speed; the Thrill Seekers, who fear no terrain; the Urban Riders, who zip through the city's streets; and the Cargo Bikers, whose work depends on their faithful bikes.

With large-scale installations, features on the history and future of cycling and interactive events, this is a must-see for cyclists of all ages and abilities.
