Winter Festival Highlights

Christmas Shopping

Southbank Centre’s popular Winter Market returns this year to the banks of the river Thames. Browse the twinkling wooden cabins that line the riverside for affordable gifts, quirky crafts and handmade pieces, alongside festive snacks and drinks. 11 Nov-8 Jan

Continue your shopping at the Charity Shop Emporium, part of Southbank Centre's weekend of charity and giving, where you can pick up original gifts and party outfits from the pop-up stalls of high street charity shops, independent retailers and smaller charitable organisations. 10-11 Dec

Seasonal Food and Drinks

Step into Rekorderlig’s pop-up lodge for a Swedish cultural experience. Warm up around a traditional fire pit with a glass of hot spiced plum cider, sit on Swedish furniture with a cool cocktail and sample traditional Scandinavian food in the two-storey cider lodge. 11 Nov-22 Jan

Tuck into your favourite festive food or try something new at the Winter Market. Choose from traditional mulled wine and mince pies, German sausages, wood-fired pizza, American-style burgers and much more. 11 Nov-8 Jan

Enjoy a cool craft beer, lager or ale in the covered seating area of The Hoplocker Bar – brand new for 2016. 11 Nov-8 Jan

Festive Shows

Be dazzled by awesome and elegant stunts performed in every corner of NoFit State's big top tent, as the contemporary circus company presents BIANCO. Set to the live band's heart-thumping soundtrack, you'll be right at the centre of the action with acrobats showing off amazing skills right above your head and all around you. 23 Nov-22 Jan

Get your festive rock 'n' roll fix at hot new musical, Million Dollar Quartet, which features tunes from music legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. The musical is inspired by the recording session that brought the four musicians together for the first and only time. 17 Dec-2 Jan
