The world's biggest track cycling league, The Revolution Series, returns to London for the 2014/2015 season.
Beginning in October at the Lee Valley VeloPark and ending in the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, the season includes six rounds. Each round will feature an afternoon and evening session packed with action from leading male and female British and international cycling stars. There are three elements to each event throughout the season: Elite Championship, UCI-sanctioned competition, and Future Stars (Under-16s).
The series kicks off in London on Friday 24th October, followed by two sessions (afternoon and evening) on Saturday 25th October. The series will then visit Manchester (22nd November and 3rd January) and Glasgow (28th February) before returning to London for Round 5 on 27/28 February.
Top professional teams like Team Sky and Rapha Condor JLT will compete for the Elite Championship with world-class guest riders appearing across the season.
In March 2014, Revolution Series was the first major event at the iconic velodrome at Lee Valley VeloPark in London since the 2012 Olympics as Laura Trott achieved an amazing clean sweep of victories in the Omnium. Multiple world champion Francois Pervis was dominant in the elite sprinting while a host of Team GB and international riders provided three sessions of incredible racing for the capacity crowds.
The atmosphere at this iconic venue is not to be missed, tickets are on sale now.
