Overview

Adapted from Walcott’s Nobel Prize winning epic poem, Omeros, is played out in the intimate and atmospheric setting of the playhouse, accompanied by live music that beautifully evokes the flavour of the Caribbean. The work, which is set in St Lucia, covers a significant amount of both time and space, spanning the continents as it follows a special journey.

Based loosely on the travels of a modern day Odysseus, this is the story of his quest with a beautiful house servant named Helen, who is on the verge of becoming involved in her own version of a Trojan war.
