London Festival Of Cabaret: The Liberation Of Collette Simple at St James Theatre

An ordinary woman is magically liberated into a realist domain where canaries become policemen and strangers cough up petunia plants. Inspired by the Tennessee Williams play, The Case of the Crushed Petunias, a selection of writers including Amy Rosenthal and Honeysuckle Weeks, reinterpret the style of the play, with songs composed by Vincent Guibert. The show is performed by Nathalie Carrington, supported by a five-piece band.
