About

Harry Potter’s feathered friends are brought to life with Feathers and Flight at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Enter the magical world of the young wizard and go behind the scenes to discover secrets from the films. Filmmakers and special effects experts are at hand to reveal just how they managed to bring feathered creatures to life and create the illusion of flight in the studio. Encounter a selection of owls, ravens, special effects equipment and feathered animatronics as they fill the Harry Potter sets. Devotees of the wizard can pose for photographs with his letter-delivering owl friend Hedwig, while fans of Ron Weasley can mingle with the talented owls who played his pet Pigwidgeon. Visitors can also discover how the birds were taught to act, by getting to grips with the equipment used to train them. Hair and feather expert Val Jones leads a demonstration of the techniques used to create winged marvels such as Hippogriffs and Fawkes the Phoenix, bringing to life the fantastic creatures from the world of Hogwarts.
