Overview

Hitler's army marches across Europe and plunders priceless paintings, sculptures and artefacts. As the tide turns and the Reich prepares to fall, the Nazis are ordered to destroy the artistic masterpieces they have stolen. President Roosevelt sanctions First World War veteran and Harvard art historian Frank Stokes to lead a platoon of museum directors, architects, curators and historians behind enemy lines to save as many treasures as possible.
