The 2014 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup is coming to London for the first time!
This June, watch professional paddlers from across the world compete on the London 2012 Olympic course, at Lee Valley White Water Centre, in an adrenalin fuelled race of speed and skill.
Only the best can tackle the tides, dodge the obstacles, and speed through up to 25 gates in a race against the clock. Many of these world class teams and athletes competed in the London 2012 Olympics and will use this race to prepare for the 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships and Olympic Qualification for Rio 2016. Both events will be held at the Lee Valley White Water Centre from 16 to 20 September 2015.
Canoe Slalom is the ultimate challenge as paddlers tackle the excitement of white water rapids, testing speed, agility and precision. Paddlers must navigate a sequence of gates in number order set up over challenging rapids, waves, eddies and currents on a 300m (984ft) stretch of white-water. The Lee Valley White Water Centre will also be hosting the 2015 Canoe Slalom World Championships in September 2015.
Tickets go on sale 27 February 2014
