Be entertained by chamber music from piano sensation Benjamin Grosvenor and the Endellion String Quartet at the Southbank Centre.
One of the most talked-about musicians in recent times, pianist Benjamin Grosvenor has a number of prestigious awards and sell-out shows to his name. As part of the International Chamber Music Season, Grosvenor is joined by the Endellion String Quartet for a recital of brilliant music composed by the likes of Joseph Haydn, Benjamin Britten and Johannes Brahms.
Despite having been around for 35 years, The Endellion String Quartet make their highly anticipated debut at the Southbank Centre's annual chamber music series.
Grosvenor plays a first half featuring Haydn’s enchanting late quartets and Britten’s compelling take on the classical style. After the interval, the quartet combines with Grosvenor to perform Brahms’ piano quintet, a masterpiece in chamber music.
