Overview

The much loved cabaret A Spoonful of Sherman makes a welcome return to the St James Studio. A favourite with the critics and the public alike, this is a celebration of the song writing skills of Robert and Richard Sherman.

The siblings are renowned worldwide for their huge musical contribution to Hollywood films. Having composed more musical songs and acclaimed scores for films than any other composing team the brothers are the most successful song writing partnership in the history of cinema. Their Oscar winning efforts include favourite tunes from the like of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats and The Slipper and the Rose.

Leading the celebration of 60 years of Sherman tunes are stars from stage and screen, including Greg Castiglioni, Stuart Matthew Price and Charlotte Wakefield, of Sound of Music fame.
