The Pajama Game takes to the stage at the Shaftesbury Theatre. A cheerful and chirpy mixture of romance and comedy, The Pajama Game stars Joanna Riding and Michael Xavia.

Set in 1950s America, it tells the story of a blossoming romance in the unlikely setting of the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory. There are complications at the factory when a good looking new member of the management staff falls for a firebrand union representative. Tension mounts as the staff are refused a minimal pay rise, leaving the romantic couple fighting against each other. Can love conquer their differences or will their political and social backgrounds overcome romance?

Breezy, jaunty and with memorable tunes, this is the Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of the Broadway smash musical. Featured hits include Hernando’s Hideaway and Steam Heat.
